Do you hate it or doesnt it bother you when other men call you baby,sweetie,honey,babe,etc..I hate when other men call me those names..The only man i like calling me those names is my husband.

Yes, it's so disrespectful to us woman, it's different if it is my hubby but another man calling me those shows me he has no morals or ethics....they have no respect for woman,..it's so annoying.

As soon as they say it...stop whatever you are doing and politely say: Only my husband calls me that and you can call me______(your first name, or "Mrs_____).
Don't complain about the language here. Speak it to whoever said it. Show assertiveness. Maybe you could re-think your title to your question. Invite men to read these answers. Educate men. Let them know we do not respond well to slang names.

Simply put: I don't let other men call me by the names my husband does.
The ONLY exception are my Father (b/c he's done it since the day I was born! & the elderly ( b/c they mean no harm- Most of them!)
Normally if I am called one of the "nicknames" that I find innappropriate (b/c I am married) - I usually give a look and simply state, my name is: ...... )
It works!

There's a guy at work who called me babe. I dont really care. It doesn't do anything for me anyways. I know I am comitted to and no pet name is going to change that.

When it comes from my family, dad, brother, uncle, elderly people, not a problems, perfect strangers not my husband? No, I don't care for it.
I do it with other women, just because it's a sisterly thing.

Yes!!!! My hubby has a friend that will do thaqt and it will make me mad and make my skin crawl. I dont like it either from no one, wheather it is just to be nice, or flirty!
