Humor for any subject is a way of coping. I will say that some political humor is too true to be funny.

very much so! i hate it that most of the "comedians" just want to get on stage and complain about the government and the administration. not that i am in complete support of either, it's just unoriginal and boring material. i want comedians to make me laugh, not hand me a sign to join a protest...same goes for singers/actors
