I put your q on my watch list as I'm curious too. Although I don't mind paying property taxes because it reduces my taxable income and I get a larger refund!

ALL states have property taxes.
Contrary to what another poster claims, TX has some of the HIGHEST property taxes in the nation! They don't have an income tax but the property taxes there will eat you alive!
WY also has property taxes.
