Absolutely. When I'm playing violin, I get all worked up. A lot of the songs that I've written make me cry when I sing them or hear them sung because of the emotion I put into them writing them.

My music is the portrayal of my heart. It's not exactly easy having that in your face every time you or someone else does your songs.

What a great question. I think the answer (which song) lies within the age group of the fan. You might get an answer from a young person, that "Stan" by Eminem brings tears to their eyes and rightly so. In an older group of folks it might be "Our House" by CSNY. But can music move a person to tears - absolutely because music evokes memories both bad and good. Either of which can bring emotions to a boil: positive or negative depending on the memory. Even "Granma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" could work, depending on Gramma or your favorite reindeer ;<)

I wouldn't say weak but there are songs that stir my emotions to the point of tears. There are many but the few that stand out in my mind are:
Tears In Heaven ~ Eric Clapton
Blue Eyes Blue ~ Eric Clapton
Don't Wanna Miss A Thing ~ Aerosmith

Today, I turned 13. About a few minutes later, "She's Got a Way" by Billy Joel came on the radio and I cried. That song was like me and my dad's song, if you know what I mean. Then later on tonight, the movie SHE'S HAVING A BABY came on. It was so weird.

Also, any one of the songs by the All-American Rejects make me feel weak and like crying. I don't know why. . .

Only if you can relate to it, whether it makes you happy or sad. A song that makes me cry is ROME "I belong to you" I was in love. I had my first heart break! Another song that makes me cry is by BOYS to MEN "Its So Hard To say Goodbye To Yesterday" This song makes me thing about all the people that we have lost and how important they were to us. It makes me appreciate all the people I still have in my life. This song has so much meaning!

Depending on the song. The Mariah Carey song "You Can't Take That Away From Me" always brings tears to my eyes because I think so lowly of myself and I wish I could take the song's advice and not let anyone of myself get to me.

Never in my entire life have I been able to listen to Puff the Magic Dragon without crying. Most of the time I can't even listen to the whole thing.
