Its not great but it does allow people to share their files, this can lead to some great content being passed around, but it can also result in copyrighted material being passed around. The worst thing though, is that it allows keyloggers, viruses, trojans and worms to get passed around also, as you never know what level of security the host computer has. If youre going to use it always scan everything before you open it or view it.

it definitely should. it makes it appear that it's legal to download music from there, but it's 100% ILLEGAL! i think it should be stopped too, i can't believe it hasn't been already! however there are numerous sites like limewire out there!
also, it is NOT safe! my best friend's computer is completely desroye because of so many viruses she got from limewire. yeah, it's definitely safe!

I won't use it. My anti-virus is expired and I don't trust Limewire.

No it s not safe, it shouldn't be banned though. People should just be notified that theres a possibility of your computer to crash .

Dude they can't stop it because they are not selling it for profit, they are just "sharing files" and everybody has the right to share files.
