like this guy at work and 3 weeks ago i asked him out to a ballgame, he said he would think about it but didn't want me to think bad. so i finally toughend up today and asked him for his answer. (since the games in 3 days).
he said "nah, i shouldn't" and kept on walking ... I just said, "that's cool thanks anyways" ..
What kind of answer was this? what did it mean. since when are men so concerned about a girl taking things bad?? his friends say he doesnt have a gf.

I was SUPER embarrased for asking, i felt like scum. i didnt think men could be like this.. i dont care if he only went for the tickets, i just wanted his company for atleast one evening. now i dont know what to do. I cant take him out of my mind, I dont think i will ever conversate with him after this but i dont know if i should keep being nice to him or should i turn mean and let him see how bothered i am..

please help i'm confused..

Some people would rather just be single. I wouldn't let it bother you, because they're plenty of guys that would go out with you.
The reason he acted like he did because he didn't want to hurt your feelings, but tried to get the message across by being distant from you.

Well, I mean if you don't want to "converse" with him that's fine. I guess he just knows you like him and he doesn't want to be like every bunghole who would just go out with you for the tickets. At least he isn't trying to use you. He may not be interested in you that's all. I would say, get over it and move on! I mean he isn't the only guy out there. You seem nice so don't turn into a jerk just because one guy turned you down. It happens to everyone, no big deal.

Also, don't get interested in co-workers. That's bad news! I mean it's fine to find a co-worker attractive but don't go beyond that. Like I said it is hardly ever turns out good. I have seen it plenty.

Think of it this way. You just found out in good time that the guy wasn't that interested in you. OK, his loss. What's more, you found out a lot about his character. So don't go out of your way to be mean to him. Just ignore him, as he's not worth the effort.

So you move on, and you'll eventually find someone who likes your company and who wants to go to a game or a movie or a play or a picnic with you.

Don't look back. Look ahead.

Never give up, there are plenty of guys out there that would love to go with you. It is hard to say where the guy was coming from, maybe he just doesn't like baseball. Don't be mean and never let him know that it bothered you.

maybe "nah, I shouldn't" was because he already has a relationship. Anyway, move on

And Go Angels!
