I didn't believe the saying that "somewhere on this planet you have an identical twin" until I met him. I do believe in a parallel universe. I've never actually experienced something weird happening other than de-jevu and premonitions...those were scary in themselves. I've answered the phone before it rings and I knew who was calling. I've avoided driving on some freeways because I felt there would be problems. Sometimes I'm right when I watch the news at night and I wasn't involved in an accident or a traffic congestion.

I like the theory that each new universe begins when a black hole forms and tears a hole through the fabric of space-time, and it creates a new dimension where there is another Big - Bang in this newly formed universe. That way universes can go though cumulative selection by mutating and the like as new universes are created.

And so why does that mean we live in a parallel universe?
I don't follow the logic. However, I think parallel universes are bunk. My opinion, no evidence, but I don't anyone has evidence that parallel universes exist either.

everything that happens happens for a reason.
i believe our parallel universe is like a 'what if' world where every decision we make is the opposite of ours here...
and when you really think about it...if we do have a parallel universe....then we are a parallel universe to someone else

I know exactly what you mean.
There are many concepts on this. If you (as a child) heard a song, hummed by a grandmother, who is now dead, and you are the only one who remembers it, then YOU die, did the song ever exist? Does it still exist... really? It can still exist, yet it will never be hummed again? How is that possible?
