9:30 seems like a good time. I say this because the younger ones probably have a hard time going to sleep when the older ones are in the living room watching T.V.

First of all....boys are always more immature than girls at the same age...about 2 years behind. But he is 14, and he would be insulted to be treated like the 11 year old...there should be some perks just because of your age.
Make the bedtime during school days different than the ones on the weekend. I would put the 9 year old to bed by about 8:30 p.m. on a school night....the 11 year old at 9:00 and the 14 year old at about 10. Sometimes it's hard to stick exactly to these, so if they delay a half hour, they will still get enough sleep before school the next day.
I would "relax" the rules on the weekend....let them stay up to watch TV movies, etc....you can still put the 9 year old to bed about 9 and let the other two stay up later.
I have raised kids already, but am going somewhat by what my grandchildren, who are just these ages do. I too have a 14 year old grandson...he is a book and computer nut...and it is hard to get him to sleep...even when he goes to bed....he will read all hours of the night. So all you can do is your best try...but be consistent!

Think of the age groups 9 and 11 should be in bed by 8, 14 by 8:30 and 15 by 9. Kids that age need at least 9 to 10 hours of sleep a night.
14 is a hard age and he has an older brother who may be more mature but at least he is not competing against. Wait for a year and watch the change.

I have 14 year old twins, and their bedtime is 10 on weekdays, and 12 on weekends.
When they were 9, their bedtime was 9 on weekdays and 10 on weekends.

When i baby-sit these kids this is what there mom says and it really works: they get ready for bed a 8:15 pm, then at 8:30 the hop in bed and either read or just rest ( no video games or electronics) then at 9:00 pm it is lights out. Usually the get tirerd from reading and they are easy to fall asleep.
I hope this helps. :>)

Find out if your 14 year old has ad/hd odd. if so thats why he is acting like the 9 year old, But as for the 14 year old ide say about 10pm. and for the 9 year old ide say 9pm or 9:30pm would be good.

The 15 & 14 yr. olds somewhere around 10-11pm ( depending on if they can get up in the morning and fuction well in school!!!) The 9&11 yr. olds are 9-9:30pm...that way they still get a reasonale bedtime, and it breaks the two bedtimes up .....

bedtimes for all should be 11 30. If they have to get up for school at 7:30, it should be plenty of sleep. I mean c'mon, us grownups have to get up for work at 5 or 6 and we're still awake the whole day! When they get older, when they get into college, they will value sleep more.
base it on their homework schedule. If it takes them till 1 AM, and they are workin pretty hard to finish that project, then let them stay up. But for other silly reasons, have a set bedtime.

Depends on whether they wake up in the morning without much hassle.
Everyone needs different levels of sleep.Bedtime does that mean lights out in your house?? Or just when they have to be in their bed, reading or listening to music or what?
Anywhere from 9-10 is good for this crowd.
