The best way is to eat healthy nutritious foods (organic when you can) & try some Ensure which will add more calories to your diet & exercise to get more muscle mass & drink lots of water.

snack every 3 hours, but don't over do it, like 2 handfuls... Eat 3 ful meals every day, you know breakfast lunch and dinner... and gain some muscle weight by excersizing a little... don't try to go out and eat like mcdonalds every day, because although you will gain weight , it's very unhealthy

eat a lot of protein like meat, supplements, protein drinks. Protein will build muscle instead of fat, which may be what you need. Some fat is good, but not too much.

My neighbors both had high metabolism and they generally had to eat more carbohydrates to maintain weight. Stuff like cereal grains, bread, pasta and the like. My brother does it by eating more sugar (works, but he's going to be toothless in 10 years).

Eat healthy.
3 meals a day.
maybe like 2 snacks in between.
don't stuff yourself it'll make you unhealthy.
