I think yes cuz he kindda strong too... but what I've saw in series, Vegeta almost became stronger than Goku, he wanna take a fight with Goku... Did u watch Majin Vegeta series? Did that series show Vegeta and Goku was fight each other? Yes. Vegeta had higher power level than Goku that time! But that was the only one fight he was stronger than Goku. I think u gotta watch it.

The only time in Dragon Ball Z when Vegeta was probably stronger than Goku is when he went to train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with Trunks during the Cell Saga. Vegeta and Trunks both trained before Goku did, so when they walked out first they were the strongest at that time. During the very beginning of DBZ I don't think that Vegeta was stronger than Goku, I think that they were evenly matched until Vegeta transformed. I guess the transformation should count for Vegeta's power but I don't think it should count.

Yes he did. When they first met and after Vegeta came out fo the time chamber. Also keep in mind, Goku was dead a lot, that may factor in also.

when they were kids and when Vegeta transformed into a giant ape in the vegeta saga but those are the only instances i can think of that Vegeta was more powerful than Goku
