Being increasingly isolated even in his own party, Bush baby has found a new worthy opponent. Sick children. Will the republican senators self destruct and uphold his threatened veto of the extension of the highly regarded, successful children's health insurance program? Of course all of these senators are fully covered by the government health insurance plan along with their children. But we will have to wait and see.

A new socialist has arisen ! Are you going to pay for this new found way to support those who's family won't support them? I'm sure the hell not !

The only place President Bush is isolated is in your already closed mind. We all give thanks that you are in a hugely diminished minority.

Under the plan that is being pushed by the Dems., a child will be classified as anyone under the age of 25. This has nothing to with "sick" children as you put it. This is all about getting into the pockets of the productive people in our society, to make us less able to live as we like. Remember poverty in the U.S. is a behavioral problem, not an issue that has a legislative fix. If you get as much of an education as you can, moderate any drug or alcohol use, work at a job until you get a better one, and most importantly don't have children until you can afford them, you will not need government assistance of any kind, not even for your kids. And I wonder how many cars/cell phones etc the parents of these children have.

Do not use the threat of the force of government to take my money and give to someone who has already shown that they can't manage their own life.

Oh yeah. Common sense, will of the people, voice of his party, future of the GOP, public opinion, none of that matters with that guy at this point. i disagree with the bush policy, even his competency, and ability to use good judgement....though there is something admirable about his resolve.

Where does the constitution require the government to provide health insurance?

While he's at it he should dismantle the welfare program too.
