Depends on the context. At times sarcasm can be very amusing, other times it can be hurtful. The key is learning to tell the difference.

People who are sarcastic generally say exactly what they intended to say, and it generally is slanted to hurt some ones feelings. I really don't think that you want to hurt your friends feelings , Do You? And if she did it to you, would you think it was funny? Think about it, we can't take back the hurt once we have inflicted it.

I heard it is the lowest form of humor. But I use sarcasm all the time. Nothing wrong with it to me.

It's funny in small doses. If it's one remark after another, then it gets annoying.
