The first time I ever saw Obama, was a few years ago when oprah (If you want to think I'm a closet oprah watcher, fine, but I was clicking through) was trying to get him to run for president.

Is Obama, "Oprah's do-boy"?

"oprah would make a good president"???? what are her qualifications? Come to think of it, what are her qualifications to be in a counseling position???? NONE She got rich off of her "Jerry Springer" of the time, t.v. show, and now all of a sudden, she is a moral authority?

Oprah's talk show was the "jerry springer" of the day. She was the most "outrageous" talk show. I used to like it for that very reason when i was younger, so don't try to tell me what it wasn't. If you are wondering why you can't find any old episodes, it's because oprah won't allow them out anymore, because it would make her look like a hypocrite

I heard of him when he was the first black to be elected editor in chief of Harvard Law Review. His career was always oriented toward public service and political office, Oprah did not give him the idea to run for President.

After college, Obama worked for a community group to help the poor find jobs. After law school he turned down lucrative job offers to do civil rights law, and be a professor of constitutional law at the University of Chicago. Next he served in the Illinois Senate for 8 years.

He got national attention again in 2004 when he ran for the US Senate against Alan Keyes, and gave the keynote address at the Democratic Convention. People then started saying that he was presidential material, but no doubt he had that thought himself.

I think Oprah might make a good President. I first remember hearing about him during his speech to the Democratic Convention

==Edit==
You must have watched a differant show than me. Her and Jerry Springer couldn't be further apart. As for her qualifications, while I was being a bit tongue in cheek, she is a sucessful businesswoman, one of the most sucessful ever, which is more than you can say about most politicions nowadays..

As usual, you are wrong. Oprah had a talk show, but it wasn't a "Jerry Springer" type of show, and she was popular from her acting career.

And yes, I have heard about Obama when he was in Congress. I believed in what he stood for then, his speech in 2004, what he stood for when he wrote his book, The Audacity of Hope, and now as a Presidential candidate.

No Oprah hires white people to clean is this not racist.
Obama is trying to get an innocent Christan Armenian man kicked out of the US so he can let more Islam's across to kill Americans. Check Ben Smith on the Politico,com enter the Armenians and his blog on it.Obama and his boys show there true hate and racial profiling here. Also they work for him. OK Yahoo drop this for telling the truth.They try to blame the victim by spinning the facts and the police and SS detail said he broke no laws and faces jail after 3 days for false charges.

the certainty that the Republican have not enable Sarah get to far far off from their watchful eyes has alot to do with it. What instruct have you ever considered Sarah on,if any, without McCain? Oprah would not have the time to placed up with the two Mccain/Palin on the comparable time, she has administration on her instruct.

I saw him when he was running in Illinois primaries for Senate, he opposed invading Iraq even though he was a candidate for office. Made me a fan, he showed integrety which is rare in a politician.
