You definitely need to go back for a follow-up check-up.
You can go to a women's health clinic, there will be a lesser charge for check-ups. Yes you can pay, they will take your cash.

First of all, I want you to call your doctor's office and ask them what your diagnosis was for the pre-pre-cervical cancer. The answer will be one of the following: ASCUS is a diagnosis that means, pretty much, "hey, there is something wrong here and we don't know what." If you have ASCUS (pronounce it ask-us), then don't worry about it. If your diagnosis was LSIL (pronounced el-sill), you have mild changes that can possible lead to cancer. If this is what you have, you don't need to stress about it right away. In the near future, maybe after you can get some insurance, yoy may want to look into having a procedure called Cryotherapy, where they freeze your cervix and cut the LSIL out. It hurts (very crampy), but it's important to do. If you have HSIL (pronounced h-sill), this is bad news. It's one step before cancer, and you need to get treated IMMEDIATELY.

If your doctor won't see you (you may be able to pay up front, but they usually won't bill you if you don't have insurance), is there a clinic or health department nearby that you can go to? Planned Parenthood, maybe? They will see you for next to nothing, and they are just as qualified to see you as your doctor is.

And, yes, you can still get pregnant.

sure, easily. Treating the contaminated cells does not get rid of the virus, merely like blowing your nostril once you have a chilly does not get the chilly virus out of your physique. HPV has a existence span of 9 months to 2 years, so if it extremely is been 2 years or much less considering he left her, you're able to have HPV. merely confirm which you do stay unsleeping thus far on your paps so as which you will catch any strange cervical cells faster particularly than later. and don't project too lots; merely because of the fact the virus reacted and brought about strange cells for her does not advise it extremely is going to for you.

Yes you could just pay out of pocket but keep in mind that lab procedures can get costly and keep in mind that if it does turn out to be cancer your medical expenses can shoot through the roof. If i were you i would try to get insurance ASAP because most insurance company's will more than likely reject you if you are diagnosed with this condition under the term (pre-existing) and even if they do accept you after the fact your rates will be a lot higher than the norm.

im sure you can just pay for the appointment...it will probably come out more expensive though but its definately worth it seeing as a medical matter like this should be taken care of quickly...just show up and say you no longer have insurance but you would like to pay for the appointment

He cannot reject you. It's just going to be much more expensive to be seen. You really need to be seen by someone soon. You don't want to wait too long and have to have your cervix removed . The recovery time would put you out of work for a while.

Go to Planned Parenthood. They'll help you and you can pay cash.
