He's the biggest hippocrit they're ever was. He rants and raves about cleaning up the game and then suspends Pac Man Jones on "allegations" stating that due process did not need to take place in the NFL, that just accusations or being guilty by association could and would result in a suspenision. Then one of the leagues Icons gets not only accused but brought up on charges for far worse charges and you decide to let due process take its course.

1st off its been reported all over espn that goodell isnt planning on suspending him.

as for the 1st offense, thats bull too. there was the Ron Mexico incident, The water bottle "jewlery"transporter, and the fingre to the fans. while only the water bottle incident was the only one the law was involved in the other 2 hurt the image of the nfl as well. and pac man was suspended before he had charges brought against him. vick should have been suspended before he was indicted, now that he is it should have been almost immediate.

i do agree with the one dude though. if vick goes scott free then pac man will have a pretty nice law suit to file. and that would tarnish the NFL by far worse then giving the fans a one finger salute.

First work on your spelling, then be patient, Vicks is coming and it's going to be harsh.

Did you stop to consider that maybe the reason that Goodell has not suspended Vick is because he has been contacted by the Feds and told that they will supoena him to testify AGAINST Vick in Court?

Vick was summoned to the Commish's office already to discuss the allegations long before the charges were brought forth. Did Vick lie to the Commish? Or maybe did Vick fess up to a little more knowledge of what was going on around the property?

If Goodell were to impose his own sentence against Vick before this happened, do you think it would help or hurt the Feds case?

This is the first time Vick is dealing with the law on a serious charge. Pac Man spent so much time with cops that he was always invited to the Policeman's ball.

It is not hypocritical, it is due process. Pac Man did not get suspended solely on the Las Vegas incident.

If Vick was dealing with other charges as well, all over the country on various different degenerate charges, then this indictment would have been enough for Roger to justify suspending Vick for 10 games.. But this is his only legal trouble, other than the herpes lawsuit, hey, maybe that should count...I don't know.

Pac Man continued to get in trouble, just like Tank, even after being talked to.

Don't fret, Vick will get his...just wait.

Pacman's lawyer has already said he's watching this thing like a hawk and is ready to pounce if Vick gets treated with kid gloves.

Personally, I think that what Vick did is messed up enough to warrant him being given the boot. Atlanta won't want him around and Comish "Due Process" Goodell will have to can the guy for the image of the league, or risk some heavy fallout.

HE's SETTING A BAD PRECEDENT!!!

ANY COMMISH who applies the Rules of there sport in such a subjective manner, based on outside media pressure will always look like a hypocrite.

Lets move a bunch of girls from Jersey to Phili, Dallas and DC and start accusing players of RAPE, according to the precedent he's setting he'll have to SUSPEND the entire team based on the allegations and/or indictments.

1. Vick is not a repeat offender, despite his mysterious water bottle.

2. Indications are he will act soon. It took a while for judgement to be passed on Tank, Pacman, and Henry.

3. Whatever he does, puts the front office at odds with the NFLPA. He's got to build consensus, work with Blank (the owner), and act.

4. Vick wasn't there, really. He thought those dog burial mounds were... gopher activity. This is all a big misunderstanding. See, the dog fell onto the car battery.

What goes around comes around...

I think Goodell is wise to "hold his breath and count to 10" before acting, instead of having a knee-jerk reaction. The indictment is only a day old so it is still very likely that there is some punishment coming. Still, I would like to see a statement along the lines of "We are evaluating the facts to determine the right course of action".

Pac Man was involved in 10 incidents, 1 involving a shooting. I think we'll see Vick suspended until after his trial. If found innocent he'll be reinstated, if found guilty then his NFL career is over.

He suspended pac man becaue he had run in's with the law on 10 different occasions, Goodell's doing a good job. Just sit back and relax.

You are an idiot. Pac Man Jones is a habitual offender who will not clean up his act. Who in the right mind would go to a strip joint the night before meeting with the commissioner to decide the future of your career.

Vick has not been in trouble with the law before this and I think that once the facts are proven, Vick will get his just punishment. Hopefully at least a year ban.
