I would ask the surgeon or your doc. They would know best, depending what kind of surgery you had.

If you would update your question with what type of breast surgery, I would be happy to share my experiences. Was it a breast biopsy? If so, an open biopsy or needle core biopsy? Breast reduction or augmentation?
