PLEASE CALL UR FAMILY PHYSICIAN ASAP- DO NOT WAIT ON THIS ONE. MORE THAN LIKELY, A MAMMOGRAM, AND PERHAPS A NEEDLE BIOPSY ON THE LUMP SITE WILL BE DONE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT U BE REFERRED 2 A SPECIALIST BY UR FAMILY PHYSICIAN. IF U DON'T HAVE ONE, FIND ONE IN UR LOCAL AREA. ONCE A NEEDLE BIOPSY IS DONE, THE TYPE OF "CELLS" IN THIS LUMP CAN BE IDENTIFIED- GOOD CELLS/ BAD CELLS.....BUT, FIRST U MUST GO TO A DR. WITH UR SYMPTOM & CONCERNS. IF U R NOT SATISFIED, OR FEEL THEY ARE UNCONCERNED WITH THIS ISSUE, PLEASE, PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER PHYSICIAN. THIS MUST BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY- TAKE CARE & GOOD LUCK!

touch your lump if it is moving then it would be benign if not then it would be something serious. I had my lump removed but I knew it was not breast cancer because when i touched it , it moved. It was along process from mammogram to ultrasound. Like my doctor said if it is moving then it is not serious. When you take a shower raise your hands up and touch your breast, you can clearly feel your lump. that's the way women should use BSE (breast self examination) when taking a shower. So goodluck..

You received a lot of good advice, go see your doc.
Is the lump hard or soft? Does it hurt to touch it?

Do you have a regular MD? If so call him - or her or your OB
for a breast exam - don't worry about a thing until you see them and they want to test you further, possibly. Early detection is key - if you don't have any of those MD's ask a friend who they use (family MD and or OB)

See your family doctor who will send you to the proper doc. Most likely a oncologist-cancer doc.

Good luck

Call your doctor's office and ask for an appointment. They can schedule you for a mammogram. Any doctor in my clinic can do so, so I presume the same in your situation.

Go to your OBGYN and get it looked at. ASAP! If anyone can tell you what it is if anyhting it would be an OBGYN.
