wash inside out and with like colors in COLD water. Use a detergent that is made for colors, like 'all temperature cheer'. Dry (again, inside out) on medium heat instead of high. You should never launder your brights in/on hot (water OR air). And this should help keep your brights bright!

All bright clothes unfortunately won't stay that way, unless you take care from the start. Check the labels, did it say anything about setting the colours?? If so, a good wash in a dilute salt solution will set the colours and then you are good to go. Pick a quality detergent, with no fillers, ie Norwex products. Wash in cold water, inside out, for now I would keep it away from other washing until you are sure the colours are set. There is nothing worse than having those colours end up where they shouldn't be.....like of white towels or sheets.
I'd stick with cold water washing for the duration of this shirt, low heat to dry, and not too much sun. All things fade eventually, by then maybe it will be time to let go of the shirt too.

Wash the garment inside out, in cold water using a detergent for colours or a gentle/hand wash mild detergent.

Wash it in cold water and use a very mild detergent such as Zero, if that detergent still exists. If not, find a detergent for gentle or hand wash.

Wash the shirt in cold water & use Woolite. "Cold Water Tide" is great on brightly colored clothing also.

Cold water with a very mild detergent (maybe even one intended for delicate or baby clothes).

wash it in cold water
use baby laundry soap - like Dreft or a mild soap without the bleach additive
add 1/2 cup (for medium load) (1 cup for a large load)of table salt (this will retain the true color permanently)

Hand wash and air dry. If it is really dirty, use like baby detergent, Woolite is way too expensive.
Good Luck

cold water, woolite or all, or something light, if it is soiled.

Put it on short or delicate cycle. If it is red orange etc, it can be washed in cold water with other things.
