Sure, that's fine. Always get all males if you want no babies in the tank. Most females are pregnant before you buy them and further more can store the sperm from a single mating to produce well over 100 babies over the course of several months.

yes, typically you can just get males or just females. When you purchase them from the petstore you can't always tell if they're pregnant or not already. If you get just males it shouldn't be a problem. Or you can get a mix of both and just let the adult fish eat the babies. they do that very quickly. although..baby fish are very rewarding to have. I have several baby platies right now that are adorable little things.

Guppies- You can keep all males or all females in a tank
Males=2" Females=2.5"

Platies- It is best to have 1 male for 2 females, so you can only keep females together
Males=2" Females=3"

Mollies- Keep only females together or 1 male for every 2 females
Males=range from 3-5" Females=range from 3.5"-6.5"
Need 1tbsp of aquaiurm salt per 5 gallons of water

Swordtails- Can only keep females together or have to have 1 male:2 females ratio
Can grow to be 5"
Require 1tbsp of aquarium salt per five gallons

Hope This Helps!!!

If you don't want babies, I would get only one sex for sure. Male Guppies are nicer to look at because of their colors and fins. That is perfectly okay and it will ensure that the males don't beat up on the female. (They are a lot easier than Puffers... ; )

it would be ok to get the same sex fish but if you get females they may already be pregnant and have babies that would be both male and female. I reccomend male guppies they are beautiful

you cant have clown fish they are salt water and in the adventure that your gold fish save loss of life you have a difficulty conserving fish gold fish can stay 2 a protracted time plus if saved in the acceptable tank and water situations you will desire to get a betta yet you will desire to cycle the tank first and that i might definitely learn conserving fish formerly you do something

Yes its ok the males are non aggressive fish.

But, if you get females they could of had mate already so i highly reccommend checking before buying them.

Its your choice

getting all males is fine and encouraged if you are dealing with a small tank and trying to avoid babies.

They wont usually fight, though it does depend on what type of livebearer you get.

Sword males male be alittle aggressive to eachother,

Rarer types of livebearers such as knifelivebearers wont usually tolerate another male.
