It is supposed all lies are negative,but when a lie is positive or convenient for a particular situation?

No one is forced to lie..... also as far as negitive and positive go it isn't the action as much as the consequences that determined that. So really you'd have to look at the fact that person who feels themselves forced into a situation where they feel they have to lie or actually taking the short-count out of telling the truth. It isn't being a friend and is symptoms of an individual who views life and social interaction as something that most be survived, as oppose to something they can thrive in. Which are two very different ways of looking at the world....
