This movie came out in 1985 and still inspires me today. I have fought the odds myself and have gone from living in a trailor park (as a kid) to becoming a doctor.

The best movie is the movie which justifies its title & genre. The movie has to be complete in all respects and sometimes more.
Like in the example the movie '300' evolves around the story of war action in medieval times and was narrated in such a way that audience felt the impact right here. The dramatic action sequences were so great that it converted the blood shedding into an artwork. The director's vision has come up really nice in this one.
There are a lot of great examples for best movies. You can check for "Excellent" movies in the website mentioned below and I hope you will not be disappointed.
