i want to buy a gift card from verizon wireless i know this sounds stupid but are there any requirements stating that a person needs to be over the age of 18 to buy one since it is a phone company and all.

im not buying a plan or anything just putting some money on the gift card so it can be given to someone else.

It is a gift card, not a contract. You need to be over 18 to sign a service contract but there is no lower limit on just buying a pre-paid card. It is a cash transaction and cash doesn't care about age.

NO YOU DO NOT NEED A PLAN OR TO BE A MEMBER OF THE WIRELESS SERVICE TO GO GET A GIFT CARD AS LONG AS IT IS PREPAID YOU CAN GO TO YOUR NEAREST DOLLAR GENERAL OR RITE AID AND PURCHASE ONE. WAL MART ALSO CARRIES THEM

I know of no age limit on that .I do know teens that buy there own cell phone's so it shouldn't be a problem for you

If you're buying it with a credit card (and it is YOUR credit card) it is fine.
