Ok I was wondering, do you have to be 16 to be able to date a 19 yr old, or is it like 18 dating an 18 yr old. Just wondering if ne 1 knew what the rules were, or what it is. Thank you:)

It depends on the State... NY is 17.

But the truth is the law is there for a good reason. if you are under 16 why would you have sex with a 19 year old.. or better yet, why are you having sex?

When I was young there were a lot of pretty girls who indulged their older boyfriends.. most of them look 10 years older then they are now and alone with a kid that the father doesn't care about.

Take your time do it right.

It depends on what state you are in. Quite frankly, you can date anyone you choose, so long as the parents of the minor consent to it. You just can't have sex. The age at which you can legally consent to sex depends on the state in which you happen to be in at the time you attempt the sex.

Depends on the state. You should type it into a search engine for your state and then you will have your answer. This would not even come into play unless you are having sex, you may date who you wish.

It depends on what state you are in. Some states allow no more then two years difference, other states - not drunk or drugged anything goes.

Depends on the state in which you live. Also, I'm pretty sure dating is legal regardless.
