Not at all. I would use just 3 males though, since they have the prettier tails. If you have females in the tank, it won't be long before you have more than 3, and eventually you'll need a larger tank.

i'm guessing you're a beginner in aquarium protecting. while you at the instant are not, then bypass to the 2d paragraph. novices at the instant are not counseled to have small aquariums, using fact that's lots much less perplexing to heavily regulate that's stability, so please be careful. a undemanding mistake novices make is attempt to overstock the aquarium, play around with the water too lots, and upload fish too at as quickly as. Aquariums require persistence. do a sprint diagnosis previously you're taking any judgements. A 2.5 gallon tank is unquestionably small, and brings with it quite some problems. maximum fish require aquariums that are lots larger than that. the 1st element you will desire to do is return the goldfish, considering that goldfish can improve extremely enormous, and require aquariums of a minimum of 10-15 gallons to be even remotely tender. Glow fish are ok, and so are guppies, yet you will desire to be the two careful. indexed here are my concepts: a million) get a male Betta. they're captivating and have fairly no difficulty residing in a 2.5 gallon tank. even although, Bettas can't be mixed with maximum fish, fairly different male bettas, as they're going to combat to the dying 2) get 2 or 3 guppies. make confident they're of an identical intercourse, or you will discover approximately 20 youthful guppies on your aquarium each and every 30 days or so 3) 3-5 glow fish. those are captivating in small faculties, and incredibly small so as that they'd desire to not have lots complication on your aquarium 4) get a larger aquarium, which will enable you to get greater fish and supply you far greater area for blunders 5) do a sprint diagnosis and are available up woth an answer your self the final element i will say to you is that, even if you do, do not make any judgements with out previous study. pass on your community fish keep and ask the owner. many times they're happy to help

no a 5 gallon tank will be fine. To be honest, I had a 10 gallon tank and had over 70 guppies in it. lol now that was overkill. they just kept having babies. so yes, 5 gallons will be plenty. They typically say that you want one gallon per inch of fish that you have. so realistically, you could have 5 healthy guppies in your tank. Good luck! Guppies are fun!

Yes. Two reasons. First, unless they are all male guppies, you won't have just three in a few weeks. :) Second, guppies are pretty active fish, and they need some room to roam. 20 gallons minimum for these babies!

yes, but it isnt the end of the world. The problem is that you cant have them reproduce in that small tank.
3 males will be fine.
They would really like 10 + but it will do, make sure u have a good filter on the tank.

That's more than enough for 3 Guppies. Add some Corydoras if you want.

As long as you keep only males in there yes
Because even if you buy females, they are most likely pregnant because they can store the sperm up to 6 months after the first birth
