Have You Noticed that in Hip Hop Videos, the Light Skinned Girls are the ones who are the pretty, attractive girls who the rapper or singer is trying to get, but the dark skinned girls are the ones who are always doing the hoochie dances like booty bounces and things like that? How Come We Dark Skinned aren't regonized by our Beauty, but by our Booty??????? Do You Think The Same Thing????

i dont watch those videos or listen to rap music but you do make a good point.i like all skin colors because it fascinates me to see how much variety a person can have.i like dark skin because it reminds me of beauty and strong power and a wise person.don't let the videos get to you-just remember that you don't need those videos to make you think you're not as pretty because of your skin color.im sure you are just as or even more beautiful than those girls in those videos.

I wish that women, no matter their tone of skin, wouldn't subject themselves to those videos. I'd like to see women doing more than "booty bounces". Every time a video comes on I just change the channel because I already know what they are going to show me. T & A. Even when it's the vocalist who is a woman. But to get to your exact point I do see that.

thats mostly true. but i have seen some really dark girls that are hot and the rapper thinks so as well. and i think thats because you girls have such great booties. have you ever seen a light coloured girl (besides Shakira) ever shake it as well as their darker sisters? i think not! thats because you have real talent!

Sorry, I don't watch alot of videos, but the one's I've seen I think you are on target... I don't know but I'd say it has something to do with mass marketing to (us) white folks.
