Andruw Jones is on fire right now, do you think this will lift the Braves into 1st?

I can't wait until next month when they play the Mets.

iceman, Ted Turner left a long time ago. AOL/Time Warner to Liberty Media. I miss the days of Ted but those days have been ancient history for a while.

The old Andruw is back! And, its about time. He's going to give them a big push, but the Braves still need to trade for a solid #3 or #4 starter. If they make a deal for a GOOD starter...watch out...they could make a trip to the World Series this year.

I wouldn't count on it. Yes, Andruw is the kind of player that can carry an offense for months. But the Mets have their own slumping slugger breaking out -- Carlos Delgado. And Delgado is just as good a hitter and he's been hitting about .350 in July and has picked his average up from .220 to about .255. So all Andruw heating up will do is keep the Braves where they are -- looking up at the Mets in the standings. As it happens, its not the Braves offense that needs a boost. The Braves desperately need pitching.

Jones went all the way from .197 to .216. It is going to take a little more than that if the Braves want a piece of the action in the NL east.

I don't think 1 player will change the team around. Yes he's hitting now, but what about the other members of the team?

hopefully,and to da iceman look at what chipper has done this year.he has the best batting average,slugging%,and on base% on the team,so i would say he has been hot all year.
