Yes and I did use it for that on my last vacation.
The vacation before that I went to a Caribbean resort that had MACs with high speed internet access so I didn't need it (and avoided the hassle of going through an airport with it).

No, I'm not that addicted. I do have a laptop and I didn' take it on vacation. I don't want anything to get in the way of me having an awesome time (plus I'd die if itt was sttolen, even tho it's an old model I love it)

No - not when you consider what it costs per minute to go on vacation. Besides which, if you fly it's a colossal pain in the rear to go through security and, if you're like me, you need your carry-on for other electronics.
