Do you think i could be an inside linebacker? I am 14 playing in high school. I am 6 ft 190 lbs fairly muscular and ran my 40 in 5.6 (pretty slow). Do i have a chance?

You will probably grow taller still. It sounds like you'd make a great tight end. If you can catch you can count the NFL money.

If you are 14 and are already 6 ft tall there is a good chance that you are going to get taller. You first of all need to improve you speed by doing a lot of running drills and weightlifting that focus on your legs. There should be no reason that you could not be a inside linebacker. The position is about agility and great field vision. If you have those not only will you be an inside linebacker but a great one at that

nah, they will definetly put u on the line somewhere unless u stop growing at that rate, but if u get faster u may be able to be a defensive end because linebackers sometime have to drop back in coverage alot and u can drop back in coverage running a 5.6 the way these freak tightends are now a day

I'm 5'5 and 150lbs and use to play for a city college for about a year. I think that if you practice hard you will likely to get that position. Just never give up and play like it's your last game. Good luck~!

You are big enough and strong. Just pratice daily on your run. You will get faster and when you are ready go for it.
