A long time ago a certain Lady was badly injured suffering Detached Retinas and ultimatley blindness performing an act she was FAMOUS for and had done many many times before. This act went on for years and years and was said to be enjoyed by men and women of ALL ages. This act was sadly last performed in the year of 1978 *and not by her*.

The person in question was Sonora Webster Carver and she dived horses off a tower at Atlantic City. Her father William "Doc" carver came up with the idea. Sonora lost her eye sight after one her dives went wrong in 1931. I remember the event, but I had to look up the person. A movie was amde of her life called "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken."
