Make that 25 years in the spotlight!
And all throughout her career she's had people pro and against her. Critics have been prodicting her "fading star" for... well... 25 years and yet, that moment still hasn't come. Her latest album Confessions On A Dance Floor with its hit single Hung Up was a worldwide smash success. And currently she's working on new material with Timbaland. Expect sth hot hot hot!!
So those wanting her to be over.... will have to wait a bit longer ;-)

only a select few can stay in the spotlight for more than 5 years. madonna has had a good run but i dont think we have seen the last of her yet. she keeps re-inventing herself to fit in and she still is active(kind of) in the tabloids. as long as she makes news for something, she'll still be in the spotlight.

No her knees and back are starting fade. She is almost 50 yrs. old and all that dancing is starting to take a toll on her.

i don't think so. i personally don't like her new look, but lots of folks seem to love it, there's no doubt she still looks fantastic and puts out good music. personally i haven't loved it for a few years, but i don't think she's fading, just aging gracefully.
