If you have a button by the headlamp switch to kill the dome lights try this.Start your truck then push in and out on the dome light button three times until you hear a tone then stop.Your DRL has been turned off.Once you turn the key off they will work again as normal.If you dont want them on again you will have to repeat the button thing again.Hope this helps.

I don't think that is what he is askin for Hyper. But, a simple turnin of the light switch to the left works just the same to turn 'em off.
But I, also, would like to know how to delete the DRL's on my 04 Silverado. Turnin the switch each time I start the truck up is gettin old. I'd like to know a solution to simply just turn 'em off for good, also.

Is it the old style or the new round front style? If I remember right the 99 If its the newer style you cant. The below answers dont apply to the 99 it wasent till 2001 the dome overide switch was programed to turn off the drl.
