or being lied to my the one you love the most and that lie putting a smile on your face?

truth.
although a lie isnt always bad. my aunt fell getting out of bed she was 82 and broke her hip. rushed her to the hospital. went in and out of comma over a week. when she was lucid my uncle told her some lies to give her peace. she knew the truth and that he lied but that really didnt matter. she died a few days later. so a lie in the appropriate place and time is ok. there are just exceedingly few right places and times for a lie.

I would rather hear the truth and cry over it! i dont want any kind of relationship based on a lie!!

It depends...if it's small...a white lie...go ahead and lie to me...make me feel good. But, if it's bigger...if it really does matter, then I would rather hear the brutal truth so I can work through it and move on.

it had better be the funniest lie ive ever heard! i read body language and speech so i know when im lied to. besides, honesty is the best policy. even when it makes you cry.
