Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.

Anything can happen. In the beginging of the US, it was a more state ruled type of society, not nearlly as much of a federal government rule. Also, every great nation has fallen and had their down times. If you get a powerful enough group to overthrow the government, it is most certainlly possible (hopefully it never happens).

Representative Republic with Democratic Principles, strongly influenced by capitalism. You need to brush up on the basic definitions rather than exaggerate them for your political ideology.

Sure it can. If we let it. One good way is to be politically bigoted. Emotion charged country hating is an excellent way to cause such change. Fortunately about 77% of Americans say they are proud to be United States citizens, so we have more than enough patriots to put any such attempt, or any similar attempt by socialists, to take control.

We need to start by not voting for any fascist or socialist.
