They call you a baby ...because you have not yet lived long enough to have much experience. Enjoy your youth while you have it cause it goes faster than you can believe.

You are not a baby. You are a young adult. Just take their comment as a compliment because you are much younger than they are. 30 is not old. I think "old" begins at 70 or even 80 years of age based on the prediction for how long an American will live.

I am 50 so I don't consider that old. I think our thoughts on what is old changes with how old we are. I can still work, play sports, drive a car, have fun, mow the lawn, shovel snow, etc. so I don't consider myself old. However I do consider 70 old and many 70 year olds can do all of the things I have named.
I think people are just talking when they find out your age. They don't really consider you a baby. I have friends your age. Sure we don't do a lot of the same things since many of them have small children but we can and do have fun together and I have learned a lot from people your age.

Because those people probably have grandchildren that are older than you. Compared to them, you are a baby. You have a long way to go before turning 30. Just enjoy it while you can. If you spend your whole life wishing you were older, one day you'll wake up and find that you are old and be like: I wish I was still young.

Oh, they're just older than you (probably by a LOT) and it feels like FOREVER since they were your age. They remember how young they were at your age compared to how decrepit they are now. I'm 44 and people who are over 60 say that to ME! So get used to it, you'll be hearing it for a long time.

I'm with you. I consider 30 old for me. I'm not there yet, but I feel old at times. People call me a baby too, but I take it as a compliment. Be happy with your youth. You'll miss it when it's gone.

25 is old to me. That's when you have to calm down and start working and thinking about a family and stuff. Of course I'm still in High School so you would consider me young.

I get the same thing at 22.....yes I know that I am young but I work full time, pay all my bills and have supported myself for several years...it gets annoying....Just be grateful to still be young unlike all of the old people craving to have their youth back...
