Believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see!

The liar will find it easier to lie. The truthful will tell the truth as usual.

If I say, "Trust my answer," will that make you less or more likely to believe me? Probably less.

I think people who overtly talk about trust and belief in veracity are generally suspicious of motives -- whether their own or others'.

People secure in themselves give and take at face value.

Yes, but it is not a determinant for me to lie, and I do not usually lie to profit. For some people it is business and you're saying that would not make a difference. Do I trust you more if you say that to me? No, may be less.

Actually, it would make it harder for me. For one, I am a horrible liar. But the important thing is that at that point you would acknowledge that you will put your heart and mind in my hands, and trust that I will tell you the truth, not judge me but be content with whatever I tell you.
THIS makes it harder than saying nothing at all or being skeptical.

Yes, because what that statement tells me is..... I don`t have to prove anything to you to gain your trust. I already have it at my disposal to do what I please. This does not necessarily mean that a person will lie to you or defy your trust. Only that you have made it "Easier" for that person to do such.

If the person is lying then yes it in a way reinforces their behavior. If the person is telling the truth, yes also, it may make you appear gullible. So the answer is yes.

yesss!! alot harder. i would feel soo bad about it afterwards i would probably try never to break the trust again. only if it's abig lie though. but if it's alittle white lie i would do that more often. heheheheheh :]

No it doesn't actually. If someone tells me they'll believe me it actually makes it harder. I feel that if I don't tell them the truth then I will feel awful cause I led them astray.

No, in fact for me it makes it harder. The guilt issue only triples when someone says "Okay, I believe you."

I will only look at you and wonder why you think I would believe you anyway. Besides lying causes indigestion...

In some situations, yes. All depends on the person.
