Will it ever be possible to splice cat and bat genes, so that you have cats with bat wings? I don't care if the cats can fly or not, i just would like to see cats with batwings.

I suppose it would be possible to splice those genes eventually. We certainly can't do it yet. What is more probable would be to implant undifferentiated bat wing cells into the muscles of the cat's back and then get them to differentiate into "bat wing cells" using chemicals and proteins.

An easier way would be to make some out of wire and black fabric. A little Velcro strapping and voila...CatBat.

(Disclaimer: Your cat might hate you if you do this)
