Is the Two Finger Test true?

I found this on Wikipedia. Is it true? If so, how would doctors do a pelvic exam on a virgin?

The Two Finger Test is a medical test that Medical Doctors perform to see if a girl or woman is still a Virgin. The Physician wears a rubber glove and inserts his fingers inside the female's vagina in question and if one finger is tight, then she is a Virgin and if two fingers can fit in easy, then she is not.

The test is used in courts to verify if a virgin or rape victim is telling the truth. It is the only way Doctors can tell.

I think that's bogus. The "rape kits" used in courts is vaginal swabs and scope testing, not a finger test. Tightness is not a factor in virginity, some girls aren't as tight naturally. Whether or not the hymen is broken is more of a sign of virginity (however, the hymen can be broken by means other than sexual activity...i even know someone who's was broken during a gynecological exam when a scope was inserted to deep). Don't believe all you read on wikipedia! Doctors are able to do regular examines on virgins. They are more careful with the "poking around" (except in my friend's case) and they are able to check for irregularities.

This is ridiculous, lol. I couldn't put two fingers in my future wife until we had been together for nearly 2 years. 13 years later and a child, 2 fingers is still a bit of a stretch (pun intended).

That is stupid. EVERY girl is a different size. Even virgins. Doctors can tell if a woman is a virgin by asking her. The presenceor absence of a hymen isn't even a reliable way to tell, beacuse they can be broken through other ways besides sex (horseback riding, trama, even tampon usage).
