Thank you! It is nice to see a refreshing viewpoint! To tell the truth, I did not know that Egyptians were originally black/*******. But then, most of the history I have studied was American (U.S.) history; most of the Indian (the People) history I have studied are the plains Indians.
Which brings up the following: All my life, "white scientists" have claimed that Indians came across the Bering Strait during the last ice age, about 10,000 years ago. The People claimed they came across from Siberia by boat. The "white scientists" claimed that the People were not that far advanced.
Finally, some "white scientists" are finally admitting the the version of the People make more sense. I mean, come on now, to trek thousands of miles across a frozen ocean heaving, then across mountains, supposedly higher than they are today, men, women, children, carrying all their tools, bedding and food supplies necessary for how many months? or is that years?
My point is that "experts" (scientists, doctors, psychiatrists, politicians, et al) make so many mistakes that the real question is, why do people at-large even believe in these "experts"?
The other thing is, I think your version of the Egyptians makes more sense than what they taught in school.
I do not know when slavery was introduced into the human race; according to the history books I have read, the Romans, and before them, the Greeks and the Egyptians kept slaves. In the case of the Romans, it had nothing to do with race or nationality; it had only to do with people being conquered.by the Romans.
Next point, at the time that Africans were being sent to Europe and the American Colonies as slaves, white people from Europe were incapable of conquering peoples of Africa; Africans were such fierce fighters the only way they could obtain blacks as slaves was from blacks!
So, yes, some one is being hypocritical.
As to your concern about people not believing that Negroids could have civilizations, don't sweat it; any educated person knows that. I have read about Zulus, Bantus and a few other tribes; about observatories and star charts. Civilizations have nothing to do with race.
I am still learning; that is the thing, no matter the race, creed, color, sex or national origin, there is so much that people can learn from others.

People of every color have been enslaving each other since they first figured out the concept of personal property. They targeted the infamous "others", other tribes, other nations, other social classes, other religions, etc. People even sold themselves into slavery in some cultures, trading off personal liberty to escape debt, to insure a good career and retirement plan for themselves, or even to get out and see the world.
I would only call it hypocritical if the person doing the complaining had demonstrated a willingness to do what they are complaining that other people had done. It's not a cross generational thing, so what ancestors did forever ago doesn't apply.
The history of slavery, both American and worldwide, should be remembered, but I wouldn't spend a whole lot of time dwelling on it. It happened several generations ago, and can't be changed now, no matter how we feel about it. Concentrate on the now, and put that energy into something that can be improved. Did you know, for example that slavery still happens today?

I think if we're talking about techinicalities, (as it is proven also that the ruling pharoahs were originally greek in origin as Egypt was colonized by them, while nubians entered the pharoaic dynasties later), the whole of the human race claims decent from Africa. While it would be in some sense a relief to find some kind of logic in the perpetuation of slavery, I personally can't find a good enough excuse as to why civilization after civilization could (and unfortunately can) justify the unwilling into servitude for another cultures gain, whether it is judged on race, social standing, sex or class. At this point in the world's history, pretty much every culture at some point has been guilty of forced servitude and slavery in some fashion, with nothing but selfishness and greed as an excuse.

Hmmm. Really good question and u have me a little stumped.
Firstly I dont think that blacks who complain about slavery are being hypocrites becuz im pretty sure that alot of them are not aware of this tidbit of history. They base their opinions on the fact that they only kno that their ancestors were enslaved and treated like animals.
Secondly (and this is very sensitive) this might just show that watever race it was that was making "strides" or "progress" at that point in time or history just turned out to be bullies. I think this is a perfect example that absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Harlin42 is right. You can see by the wall-paintings that Egyptians distinguished themselves from black people. Also, they called Nubia 'vile Kush' and considered that its inhabitants had buttocks for souls!
But it's a good point about slavery. There was an Arab slave trade that started before the Atlantic slave trade and lasted longer. The slavers didn't stop, they were stopped (by the British, incidentally) against their will. What is more, many of the boys taken were castrated and it was considered that if more than on in ten survived, Allah had been very merciful. But you won't find any Arab feeling guilty about all this!

They are even claiming India civilization because India Invented the Decimal & the Hindu-Arabic Numerals. Egyptian or Indian DNA (Ancient or Modern) would have been widespread in Sub Sahara Africa where the Mali's, Ashanti, Dahomey, Songhai, & Benin acquired their slaves to trade with the East Arabian Slave Trade & the Trans Atlantic slave trade. Ancient Indian or Egyptian never colonized Sub Sahara Africa due to the Sahara desert & Indian Ocean being a great Barrier or else Egyptian or Hindi Languages, their religions, clothing & customs would have been wide spread in Sub Sahara Africa. Straying far from your Homeland in ancient times is dangerous in unfamiliar tropical disease ridden environment where civilization, written language, farming didn't exist. Modern Egyptian DNA matches Ancient Egyptian DNA. Ancient Egypt could be purple or Yellow or the color afro-centrist wan't them to be but Egyptians will never be Sub Saharan by direct lineage, culture or society just as Sub Saharan will never be Egyptians. Just because Early Sapiens started out in vicinity of Horn Africa doesn't mean they started out Deeply Burned by the sun. Springy Coiled Hair the creates pockets of air to cool the head & Dark Complexions are later evolution by hairy early Homosapiens who lost most of their hair that stayed & migrated south to the Interior Sub Sahara. (Australian Aboriginese have wavy hair not coiled). Nobody Witness how Humans evolved from the start except for the end result. Early Homo Sapiens didn't start out Pale either, but they retained their hair, got lighter in the colder climate with very little sun exposure & creating/innovating to survive in the harsh climate. Early HomoSapiens were more likely Yellow or Fawn like the Lions & Antelopes in the Grasslands of Sub Sahara. Civilization Pretty Much Started in the Fertile Crescent (Iraq) that spread North West, Far East Asia, & Some Areas of North Africa near the Coastlines & Streams. When the Camel originating in Mongolia reached the Fertile Crescent & later North Africa it made it possible for small scouts/incursion to penetrate the Sahara desert & reach Sub Sahara Africa during the 2nd half of the Middle/Dark Ages.

True, you are not asking a question, you are only giving what you perceive to be facts, then trying to support your case. I have seen this issue debated here in YA a few times before - and like them you resort to name-calling. So, like the "morons" you claim are "stuck on the race thing" you have not proven yourself to be any more intelligent - only angry. As for slavery, try reading more about how the Japanese enslaved the people of Asia from 1931 - 1945.

The Slave trade was an entirely different part of history. Slavery has been around since the ancient of days when the Egyptians held the Israelites in slavery for nearly four hundred years.
Slavery is simply a sin problem. One day Jesus will return and set up his new kingdom and sin will be no more.

Well actually they enslaved people if they were A)captured soldiers or B) conquered people. It was not because of their skin color. Their slavery was no less horrid and wrong but it still wasn't based on race as American slavery was.
