Relaxed - but with a deadline. I long ago decided every decision was worth it's own particular amount of energy and time. You can gather all the information you can collect, and still not have all the facts. You can think as carefully as you can, and still miss something. So I reckon - Think, Act, respond to the consequences. Simple really. No need for tense or angry and the rest. So I reserve my emotions for more important things, such as plunging into life like a game, or discovering what sharks there might be in "the pool of my mind" -- and for when they won't get in the way of listening, looking, and thinking.

I think best when I am happy and a little tense. If I'm relaxed I can be more creative in my thought, but I take my time (procrastinating) until I have some sort of deadline in sight. When the pressure is on and I'm feeling good, that is when I do my best thinking. If I'm angry or sad I don't focus well at all.

I think well under all circumstances, probably moreso during a personal crisis. I tend to find a second wind when dealing with very serious issues. I have had so many of them affect me in my life that, unfortunately, seems like it's second nature. The mroe difficult the situation, the better I respond. You have a nice evening, too.

Hmm... never thought about that! Guess I think better when I am relaxed but focused! I like focus... concentration. One can be working in a stressful environment and still get great almost autonomous thinking by having focus.
