I think Bush's trying to push that awful shamnesty for illegal aliens bill down our throats was the final straw. Many of Bush's supporters deserted him and many Democrats were disgusted with their own party for voting for that stinking bill. More people are now politically independent than are either Dems or Repubs! Good. Let's vote in the primaries and general elections and get some Reps and a president who will do what is best for the American people!

It doesn't matter to me what the ancestors of George Bush may have done. What matters to me is what is happening now. Yesterday, a judge, appointed by Bush, ruled that the Bush Bunch retaliating against political enemies and spreading the name of a secret agent is "well within the realm of their duties."

Since when is it the duty of a Vice President and his helpers to spread the name and occupation of a U.S. Secret Agent to various reporters? Such when has such spiteful retaliation become admirable?

This is the most alarming situation yet, even worse than the flagrant release of Scooter Libby. A stacked court, a group of corrupt men and women, and we are well on our way to dictatorship.

Secret prisons, torture, an unnecessary war, the forgotten capture of Osama bin Laden, wiretapping, intrusions into civil liberties, overt neglect of Constitutional laws, aggressive and manipulative behavior, lies, distortions, neglect of the poor, the 900 page Patriot Act, politicizing the federal courts.....this is just a short list of the indiscretions and outright criminal actions of George W. Bush and his crew.

To make it worse, those that support him and his Administration claim to be Christians, despite the constant indictments, embarrassments, hypocrisy and greed shown by Republican leaders. To be sure, our leadership has often been made up of a group of rowdy miscreants, but none so blatantly and egotistically guilty of malfeasance as in today's political world.

If that sleeping giant does not wake up, it will find itself haltered and chained.
