Yes, opposites tend to attract because they see traits in the other person that compliment their own. Ex. A shy girl + outspoken guy.
So yes, they attract.
But wether they say together is a question of dedicaition and purserverence.
If they are true opposites there will be times when they just can figure each other out.
This is where relationships and bonds are tested and strengthened.

However, if your just like your partener, thing will most likely will become boring and dry.

Opposites in couples make for an adventurous and healthy relationship full of discoveries.

Yes, they do attract. But I can't say I've seen true opposites stay together for a very long time. You do need some things in common, like morals and values, to sustain a long, healthy and happy relationship.

Yes I do think opposite attract. 2 years ago I married a Bulgarian lady who is a communist and aged 54. I am from England, a right winger and aged 74. You can't get more opposite than that yet we are very happy together and I can't imagine life without her. Yes we may disagree about politics but we NEVER argue about them. Good luck

It's hard to say, me and my boyfriend are complete opposites, I'm extremely clean, he's so messy and doesn't care, I'm careful, he's not, I'm shy and he's outgoing, etc. But we fight a lot, we love each other but at times can't stand each other. We're still together, have been for a couple of years, the thing is that you have to have good communication or no relationship, no matter how alike or opposites you are, will last.

Yep - my wife and I are opposites in every facet of our lives - even upbringing (public school boy, small private school girl etc) in fact i can't think of a trait where we are similar - however it has worked for 14 years now. It gives us different things to talk about, we enjoy our own pursuits and time out, but we also enjoy the times together. When we go out for dinner, there is no break in conversation as we give each other a completely different perspective on life.

i don't know about the staying together part, but i can tell you that opposites really do attract! My boyfriend and i are absolute opposites: he's tall--i'm short, he's too serious and i am funny, he's not really into going out and i'm the outgoing type, etc. You name it, we are already opposites :)

its very possible that 2 opposite people feel attraction to each other,but i think they hardly stay together.

YOU TALK TO ANY MARRIED COUPLE AND ASK THEM THAT SAME QUESTION AND EVERYONE WILL TELL YOU THAT THEY HAVE NOTHING IN COMMON.B UT THEY HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR 20 YEARS 30 YEARS AND SO ON AND SO ON. ME AND MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN MARRIED FOR 28 YEARS AND THE ONLY THING WE HAD IN COMMON WAS THE FACT THAT WE WERE ATTACKED TO EACH OTHER AND THAT WAS ENOUGH FOR US TO STAY TOGETHER. HIS LOOKS AND SEX KEPT ME COMING BACK FOR MORE. I CAN'T SPEAK FOR HIM.
