You're either confused, or you're lying and looking for attention.

Either way, no worries. Your marriage is not legal and no need to tell mom and dad at all.

"Nevada: If you are 16 or 17 years old, you must have one parent or legal guardian present. A notarized written permission is also acceptable. It must be written in English and needs to state the name, birth date, age of the minor child, along with the relationship of the person giving consent. The notary must note that the parent or guardian personally appeared before or was subscribed and sworn to. If you are under 16, marriage can be authorized only by court order when the request has been filed by either parent or legal guardian."

Make it seem like a question-- like this "Mom you know what ( insert name here) and I did while we were in Vegas?" Wait for answer. Then say "we pretended to get married at a real chapel!" Show her the documents you have etc. Then look at her and ask "mom- you dont think this is valid do you?" Wait for answer. As soon as you pick her up off the floor tell her you had no idea what you were doing. Let her do some digging and researching to find out if it is legit or not. Say some prayers and I wish you all the best.

If you ever have something to say to your parents just tell it like it is. If they don't care, I am sorry to hear that.

Personally, if what you are saying is true. You should consider getting your marriage annulled. There is alot to being married than sex and love. There are things you need to think about. You will be a different person at 18 than 14, different at 21 than 18, different at 28 than 21. Your needs and perspectives will change as you and he get older. Alot of people that get married young typically end up being unhappy, because they didn't get to experience much and other people. They end up divorcing.

For your own good, get your marriage annulled or get your tubes tied until you are at least 25.

Good Luck!

What is the point of being married at 14? Do either of you have a job? Are either one of you financially able to live on your own? Are you both financially stable enough for children? Are you mentally ready for children?

If you can't answer yes to every one of these questions (these are only the tip of the iceburg when it comes to marriage), you have no business being married!

I strongly suggest that you tell your mother and have it annulled!!

If, in ten years, you two are still going strong and you can answer yes to those questions, then get married.

Young lady, from what I have read, at least most did stick to the question. You are not married, and the people who performed the ceremony can be arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, 2 counts minimum.

Baby you are too young to be married. I suggest you tell your parents right away. There is so much that you haven't seen or done yet. Marriage is a commitment for the rest of your life. You have just began your life. And I bet there is a better man for you than that of what you have now. If he is around your age you both have nothing to give eachother. You both live with your parents, You don't have a job, and you don't have a HSD yet. Take your time gurl

I would assume that if you're 14 and your parents don't know, then they didn't sign a consent form. I'm guessing that you're not really married. I really don't think that's legal. But you had better tell them what you did so they can take the proper steps to annul it if needed.

I don't think you're legally married. You may think you are, but since you are only 14, you wouldn't really know the difference. Tell your parents anyway. There are a lot of responsibilities that come with marriage that you might not be aware of. It's not all just fun, games, and romance. You could end up in a lot of trouble and if your boyfried is over the age of 17, he could end up in jail. Unless you want this to happen, you need to tell your parents.

I wasn't aware you could legally get married in Las Vegas at age 14 without your parents' permission. If you lied about your age, you aren't legally married and they can have it annuled if they find out, you know. I wouldn't hate you, though. I feel sorry for you. Marriage is difficult as an adult. As a kid, you don't have much of a chance.
