Depends.. if it was like a promise to do something that means something really speacial to someone then " Yes i Do"
But... id always keep a promise about not telling someone's secret i usually only tell my one close friend.. but other than that i keep promises

it depends. if keeping the promise means putting my friend in danger then no. for example, if i had a friend who had diabetes and i caught them sneaking sweets I'd make sure I'd let someone know, even if they made me to promise not to tell anyone.
