Bush is out of office in 2008, so why are the liberals on the far left still wasting time bashing him? Why not focus on issues that can help American, not produce sound bits that help our enemies.

Thank you. This is not a matter of trying to help our country. It is a desperate attempt to shore up failing self-images that are tied to a very poor platform.

We need to go back to the basics that made us great as a party, not become more socialist and seditious. We succeeded at the greatest political coup in the history of our nation: free speech, free expression, and equality are household values. Even Republicans take those things for granted.

Why have we started abandoning them? Enough.

Patriotic protest, not seditious name-calling mobs, please.

Can you please tell me how exercising our freedom of speech is helping our enemies? So are you saying, to defeat terrorists, we need to give up our right, and cease to be America as it is now?

By your logic that Bush is a lame duck President already, wouldn't he have been a lame duck right after he won the 2004 election? Since he couldn't be elected again.

What we need for the next President is not a Democrat or Republican, but someone from outside the two parties that isn't bound by party lines.

Because, my friend, he is a criminal. He has committed treason. He has violated more civil rights than anyone in recent memory. More importantly, if you...personally ... broke any of the laws that this man has blatantly broken, you can rest assured that you will be prosecuted. Should he be considered more important than you, yourself ? Bush, Giuliani, Rice, Cheney, Powell, Jeb Bush, Marvin Bush, George H. W. Bush and many more terrible criminals would be allowed to roam amongst us in your world. Yet if you break the law, you will not be allowed to roam around in theirs. Think about it.

Bush still has, and has used twice since the congressional elections, the veto power. What kind of lame duck fires back?

Because Bush is setting precedents (not presidents) that could disrupt the constitutional balance of power for decades to come.

If any future executive officer is able to ignore the laws at will, just by saying "well, Bush did it and you didn't complain", they we have broken the structure of constitutional separation of powers that took 200+ years to work out.

It's necessary, not just for this regime, but all future administrations, to set the boundaries for this type of illegal and unethical conduct.

"Democrats believe in killing babies and old people, and, to judge by their various plans to modify American medical care, they believe in killing everybody else, too. Except for murderers -- murderers will get a "time out" and a chance to speak at the graduation ceremony of a prominent liberal arts college."

In the hopes that it'll rub off on whoever the Republicans do run.

Hey, one of the things that kept Gore out of the Oval Office was his need to 'distance' himself from Clinton...

Well, becuase then they'd have to tell us where they stand on issues & they'll lose again. It's amazing how little their stance has changed on issues even though it has cost them election after election.

Liberals want the government to run the country. Liberals want to run the government. They do whatever they think will work to reach their goals. Being rational is not in their play book.

hey bro, honestly Democrats are the dumbest people i have ever met. They will do things such as vote for things and blame the subject of which they voted for to gain popularity. Democrats are nonproductive and have no answers just like what Arnold Schwarzinager said.
