Yes, the last few years the cowboys have been better. But the three year stretch before that the raiders were better. Going into the season the cowboys will be more favored than the raiders. But as you can see since free agency teams go from worst to first all the time example saints, bears, chargers and bengals to name a few. There are a few exceptions like the colts and patriots who have shown consistency from season to season. I am a raiders fan and I have been through the highs and lows and I believe they will go to the top again. So to answer your question going into the season the cowboys appear to be the better team but as the saying goes anything can happen on any given sunday. Since last year is over and all teams are starting from scratch just watch to see who is better this year the cowboys could continue where they left off last year or the raiders could surprise a lot of people. That is what makes the game great you never know what is going to happen.

Cowboys have a way better offense but the Raiders have the better defense. How can anyone say the Cowboys have a better D the Raiders were third last year.

Even if you modified your answer to "Are the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders better than the Raiders?" I'd say yes. The Raiders aren't jack **** and havn't been since 2002, nor will they be as long as they keep on doing what they're doing.
