I say do both!! I had to decide to, and I chose both also! In the beginning it was really hard because sometimes the practices would overlap with eachother, but you had to just show each coach you are dedicated to BOTH sports. Don't let either one slip. I would miss softball practice when compitition was coming up, and I would miss cheerleading when a huge game was coming up. YOu just have you balance. It was hard, but I made the right decision. As for friends, my friends all did softball too, and they thought it was weird, but when they saw how good of a flyer I was, they resepcted me for doing it and they saw cheerleading in a new light. I also made tons of friends in the squad. If you really love both, don't give either one up.

Play softball. It's more fun to do something than to merely cheer others on. Besides, there are no wins and losses in cheerleading, and the games make it fun.

i say cheerleading but it all depends on what you like more.. but if you want to be around more of your friends then you probably would wanna pick softball but then again you would meet new friends in cheerleading there has to be one you want more dont worry if you friends will tease you if you like it then do it, it will make you happy!!

Do both of them! If you want to do both then go for it. Don't let nobody stop you. If you friends try and stop you they are basically saying that you can't do it even if you tried. Prove them wrong...do both.

I would go by what you enjoy more of and what you're better at.
