LEGALLY you are an adult at 18.

The adult age should remain at 18.

18, unless they are matured early as determined by a judge. Sometimes judges give kids emancipation and business authority at 16 or so. There are some kids, however, that shouldn't have legal rights over person and property until they are 25. Believe me. I've got one in my house.

I think we should go back to rites of passage. Rites can be tried for at the age of 18. If you fail, better luck next time.

That's only ideal, of course. It would be impossible in today's society.
