Nonsense. Let me get academic and give you a few definitions. Atheists- do not believe in God at all. Agnostics- think it is possible there is a God, or possible there is no God, bottom line it is virtually impossible to prove one way or the other. Satanists worship Satan either as a reality or as an idea. Here is where it gets tricky. Some Satanists dint really believe in God, Satan, or life after death. They revere the story of Lucifer, who said "I will not serve" because they believe you dont owe the world anything, and you should not be controlled/ guilted/ coerced/ or drafted. Other Satanists truly believe in Satan as a bad/dark/evil energy or God-like being. Funny, I was friends with a practicing Wiccan once who went to lengths to state she was NOT a Satanist, but rather a person who worshipped nature and mans place in it. she was actually a quite gentle person. Closing point - dont confuse the entire band with just one band members point of view, presented in an interview.

Just because a person or a band member is not a Christian does not automatically make them a devil worshipper. There are many religions in the world and we shouldn't call those people satanic.

You would really need to meet the System of a Down guy and see what he is all about. Don't believe the stuff you read in magazines about musicians. They print a lot of junk.

Most of the world is non-christian so if you go along with your church leader, you will have to live without much contact with the world and its people.

Best of luck to you!! I have met the leading musician who is thought of as antichrist and blah, blah, blah, and its a bunch of garbage. He is a nice gentle person, with no evil thoughts, and cares deeply for people.

No. Satanic would be if they worshipped Satan. if they don't believe in god, they're Atheists, not Satanic. Group Leaders in Church say a lot of things about people who don't believe in God. They're not evil, they're method of thinking is just different than yours.

I don't think it means they are satanic. I think being satanic means like practicing satanism. If that's a word?! LOL! But they are atheist then. But if you believe in God and the teachings of christianity you know they can be forgiven and become saved. They just have to want it.

Of course not. If they declare themselves to be satanists then they would be but not if they just don't believe in God that is athiest and has nothing to do with satan. It's good to ask questions God is so much more complex and loving than man gives credit for sometimes.
Peace

No, someone isn't Satanic just because they don't believe in God. If you're Atheist it doesn't mean you're Satanic. To be Satanic you need to believe in the Satanic rules.

There are a lot of artists, actors, musicians, writers and so on who produce good and interesting works and have some strange beliefs. Just because you listen to someone's music doesn't mean you believe the same as them.

If that were so then every Michael Jackson fan would be a pedophile and every Elton John fan would be bisexual. Some of my favorite musicians and singers are vegetarians and yet I love meat.

More important to look at the music or work itself and accept it or reject it on its own merits. There is music out there that advocates un-christian behavior--so if you are a Christian you should reject that.

NO!!!!! People that do not believe in God are not satanic, besides the fact that satanic people do not necessarily believe in the devil...look up the satanic religion. They simply have their own views on life as we all do.

no, not to me.
They would be Satanic if they worshipped satan and sang songs glorifying him. But seeing as to how they don't believe in God, they most likely don't believe in Satan either...
lots of church leaders will say that, one of mine said that Jon Bon Jovi is of the devil....you just have to know the difference between right and wrong and you and I both know that Jon Bon Jovi isn't satanic....
so no, I wouldn't say that just because someone doesn't believe in God means they are satanic... it just means they are agnostic, right?

Well to be Satanic you'd have to believe in Satan so you could worship him(regardless of what your church people tell you).

I'm pretty sure anyone who doesn't believe in God doesn't believe in Satan.

Hence Atheists and Agnostics are not Satanists.

Don't let anyone convince you to censor yourself, listen to whatever you find interesting and form your own opinions.
