Pick three forwards, two defencemen, and one netminder -- and you can mix up the eras -- to form the ultimate hockey line. Forwards can play any position, i.e., you could pick three centremen for forwards.
My pick:
Centre: Wayne Gretzky
Wingers: Mario Lemeiux and Bobby Hull
Defence: Bobby Orr and Paul Coffey
Netminder: Terry Sawchuk

If we're talking one game...
Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Hull, Gordie Howe, Bobby Orr, Ray Bourque, Dominik Hasek.
For a career, I'd probably take Sawchuk or Roy in goal.

Center: Gretzky
Wingers: Lemieux and Crosby
Defense: Bobby Orr and Paul Coffey (although Al MacInnis wouldn't be a bad choice with his shot)
Goaltender: Patrick Roy (Brodue and Lunogo are great choices but the best so far is Roy)

Lemieux, Gretzky, and Phil Esposito as the forwards.
Bourque and Orr as the D-men.
And of course, Patrick Roy in net.
Really for the forwards it's kind of toss-up between Esposito and a bunch of other guys (Bossy, Dionne, Richard, Lafleur, etc.), but for the career I'd take Esposito.
