Summer of 1977!
I was 5 years old, and playing on a T-Ball team called 'The Yankees', and we won our division, championship, league, whatever you wish to call it. Anyway, that night I stayed up late, because I was so excited about winning. I went into the living room, and was watching the 11:00 news and remember seeing where Reggie Jackson and Thurman Munson each hit a HR in their game, and I remember thinking at that exact moment - if I'm a 'Little Yankee' and we won, and they are the 'Big Yankees' and they won that if I were to always be a Yankee, then I'd always be a winner.
Sad, but true. That is how my odd, twisted, bizarre mind worked even 30 years ago.
Great Question, Kid!

When I was six years old, entering the first grade in New Jersey. No better intro to the game I love than watching Reggie Jackson do his thing in 1977. I remember attending Catfish Hunter Day, when the team gave him an elephant and a pinstriped Corvette. I remember eating a Reggie Bar in Yankee Stadium and thinking it was completely gross. I remember being at the ballpark the Sunday after Thurman died in '79. Can't wait to watch episode 2 of "The Bronx is Burning" tonight.

i've been rasied a baseball fan, especially the Red Sox, they're so much fun to watch cuz' one year they stink, and the next they're ahead of the other teams by 10 games, then a month later they're in last place. The Sox also have the most passionate fans (as do the yankees) and they seem be more passionate about the game. But that's just my opinion.

I've been a baseball fan as long as I can remember. The first game I went to was Game 2 of the 1984 ALCS, Detroit @ Kansas City, when I was 4 years old.

I was ten years old, in 1967. I pulled for the Tigers(they had, for that time, the best lineup in baseball) and the Giants(I was a big McCovey fan). Baseball does have an addictive quality about it, and I cant put my finger on it. But major leaguers sure are something to watch, aren't they? Even though we know it isnt, they make it look so easy.

Ever since the 70's.
Willie Mays, Willie Stargell, Roberto Clemente (RIP), Willie McCovey, Bobby Bonds, Thurman Munson, Dusty Baker, Ron Cey, Steve Garvey, Joe Rudi, Bill Russell, Tommy John, Reggie Jackson, Vida Blue and many others were my favorite players.
Also, working for EA Sports is cool because you get to appreciate and meet pro athletes from teams across the World!

The first baseball game I have memory of was in the 1986 World Series. I was five and I remember my dad laughing so hard cause the first baseman screwing up a routine ground out.

I was also thirteen. My favorite team was the Tigers and still is. I hated the Yankees back in 1961 (when I was 13) and I still do. Sorry!

I was like 7 or 8 when I went to my first Indians game but I liked them before. I still love the Tribe and always will. Indians lost to the Brewers 7-2.
